About the Course
Electrical Engineering is concerned with the design, construction, installation, commissioning and operation of power transmission lines, power stations, distribution system and electrical wiring for domestic, commercial establishments and Industrial segments . It is one of the oldest disciplines of engineering. Electrical engineers have always been in demand and are at the forefront in technological innovation. They will continue to lead the world by making significant contributions in energy generation, transmission,distribution and environment.

Electrical Engineering is one of the highest employment generators among all the engineering streams. Due to the widespread usage of electricity and technology, Electrical Engineers can find employment almost anywhere in the world. An Electrical engineering Diploma holder can choose a career in Production, Computer Aided Design (CAD), Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM), Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Power Generation, Nuclear Reactors, Air-conditioning Equipments, Electrical and Tranmission Equipment like Power Transformer.
Eligibility Criteria
Matriculation with Science,English and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
Lateral Entry to Second Year
The minimum qualification for admission to 2nd year/ 3rd semester of the Diploma courses is as under :
All those candidates who have passed +2 Vocational or +2 Science Stream or I.T.I (One Year) are eligible for admission.
Admission Procedure
J.E.T test is conducted every year for Admission to diploma courses. Every institute also has sufficient seats for management Quota.
