About the Course
Bachelor of Computer Applications(BCA) Course has been professionally designed to impart quality education to students at the under-graduate level in the field of computers. BCA course helps the students to learn the State-of-the-art technology. The course is designed in such a way that the student is trained to suit the needs of the software & hardware industry, thus BCA graduates are able to develop and prepare documents, projects, presentations, design websites and demonstrate skills In running software programs. They can also pursue masters program in computer applications (MCA) after graduation.

The hardware and networking industry contain the physical elements of computer system (i.e.) designing, manufacturing and maintenance of computers. It also involves integration and installation of computer systems through networking. Research and development involves the crafting of circuits and chips and computer architecture. The service and application support industry includes application management and system integration, maintenance of software application and its installation and much more.
Eligibility
The candidates who have passed 10+2 Examination or its equivalent examination conduct by a recognized board / university/ council, securing passing marks, shall be eligible for admission to the course. The candidates who have appeared in 10+2 examination are also eligible to apply for this course the candidates who have passed Matriculation examination and have also passed Diploma in any engineering trade from any recognized Technical Education Board, Chandigarh or SLIET- Lonogowal, shall also be eligible for admission.
